A complete renovation of the structural and mechanical systems of a 120 year old townhouse. The front brickwork was restored to its natural finish and all brownstone work, including the front stoop, was resurfaced. The construction also included a new foundation and roof, new fireplaces and chimney, new flue system for boiler, and new windows. All bearing walls were replaced with structural steel reinforcement to support the 26 foot span of the new steel truss system. The stair and all its elements were completely replaced. A significant opening was made at the rear of the building to accommodate floor to ceiling French doors that open to a deck.
